Photography Tips From Airplane Window

The photos we snap out of a plane flying through a window is not going to win any photo contest, but rather serves as a keepsake both for themselves and to be shown on the other. And most importantly, can help reduce boredom and restlessness while flying, before take off and landing.

There are some tips that can help us produce better pictures when I want to take pictures through the window of the plane, please:
1. Choose a strategic seat

If you want to shoot out the window of course you have to sit by the window, and try to select a few seats away from the wing so that your sight is not blocked. But if the view should be unobstructed airplane wings, do not worry, Include it all:

2. Align and hold the tip of the lens to the plane window

If shooting fish in a tank when we should stick to the glass lens, when shooting from the window of plane this is not true. Remember that the aircraft has a cool and will make the images become less sharp. Position the tip of the lens to a possible parallel to the window, as close as possible to the surface of the glass but not sticking.
3. Reduce the reflection of the glass window

Photographing through the glass window making we should try to reduce the reflection of the glass in order to better contrast and sharper photos. To minimize reflection, try to attach the lens hood and lift the glass window. Even if the lens hood is not available, use one hand to close around the front end of the lens.
4. Do not use CPL filter

CPL filter loose from the end of the lens when you want to take pictures from the window of the plane, or you will get a photo with fake rainbow risked such as installing CPL:

5. Use manual focus

Hard to lock focus using autofocus when I had to pass through two layers of the plane window, better use manual focus or set the focus point to infinity.
6. Turn off Flash

In addition to exacerbating the glass reflection, using flash can startle other passengers. But the most important explanation is that vain illuminate clouds, mountains or whatever the distance is tens of meters to kilogram meter only with your tiny flash heheh.
7. To take a picture down, wait until the aircraft dived / skewed

The aircraft will be on his side before landing or shortly after take off, so be prepared when in moments like this. Keep in mind also that when in maximum height, it is often an airplane window becomes fogged or even stuck ice, so save photograph at the beginning of aviation.
8. Recommendations setting exposure

Although jets have a softer vibe and some lenses equipped with IS / VR, it is better to use a fairly fast shutter speed, focal length or follow the rules of the safest to use speed above 1/250 and faster when you have to shoot the ground below. For aperture, safe way is to set the rate at f / 8, ISO speed (but do not go overboard as well) used okay, considering we will not find images with perfect resolution of the window.

Good luck and do not forget to look too cool example of 25 photos taken through the window of the plane.
